2007-08 (1st-Year Grad):
Began the season 5th position, and worked hard to finish in the 2nd in the team. Carried an undefeated season. Nominated as USC Squash player but the award doesn't exist yet so he settled with a warm salute. .
Background Nickname: The Giant
Goals: To see the USC Squash in the TOP 15 teams in the country and be a successful research engineer.
Favorite Artist: Bob Sinclair
Favorite Match: My match when we played Northwestern at the 2008 nationals in Boston. It was a classic example of how Trojans support while one of us is battling it out: I was 0-7 down in the first game and I clawed back to win the game 10-8. Then i took the next game, but there was some controversial refereeing to deny me the next two games to level the match at 2-2. With an hour gone by, we were battling the fifth game and both players were dead tired, but the team cheered me on. I was leading 8-7 at match point when the referee showed his dislike towards me again and lost the point to make it 8-8. I took a calculated risk to select set 1 to make the game a one point show down. This unhinged my opponent and gave me a psychological advantage. With the service changing 6 times at 8-8 the crowd was tense. But the irony of it all was that at the sixth serve i won the point and the match on a "STROKE" call, given by the same referee.
